Terms and Conditions

Artists' Fee:
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to be posted to the name and address on the 'Contacts' page to arrive one calendar month prior to the performance date, with the Balance of the agreed total to be paid in cash or cheque on the day of the event. Deposit cheques are to be made payable to: Rebecca Saxby and post-dated to the date of the event.
Artists' Requirements:
- 4 armless chairs
- Well-lit area to perform
- Covered area - if outdoors - protected from rain and direct sunlight
- Refreshments would be appreciated
Disclaimer:
Please note it is sometimes the case that one of our quartet will be unavailable for your event, or due to illness or unforeseen circumstances may not be able to play. In this case, we provide a deputy player from our reserve list who is always of the same exceptional standard and reliability as our own players. This will not in any way affect the quality of our performance and where possible, we will always try to inform you if this is going to be the case.
Client Consent:
Please indicate by ticking in the 'I AGREE' box on the BOOKING FORM that you have read and understood the terms made by The Dea String Quartet and have supplied all the requested information using the BOOKING FORM on this website, that has then been sent to us. A confirmation receipt will be returned to you. In addition please post a post-dated cheque for the sum of £100; the remainder of the agreed total fee to be paid on the day of the event to the artists in cash or cheque as previously agreed.
